The only problem I ran into with the multiple artboards (I just might be missing the solution), is that you can’t change the numbering on the artboards. It is easy to create new artboards with the Artboard tool, adjust the size and placement and quickly crop the artboards with the Control Panel.
Being able to have these documents on one artboard is great. I usually need multiple documents for a project or illustration series. Having multiple artboards makes it much easier to work with multiple documents compared to previous versions of Illustrator. So I am happy with the Multiple Artboard replacement. I have to say that I rarely used the Crop tool. You can also print, save, and export these artboards independently or together. The artboards can overlap, appear side-by-side, and even stack on top of one another. Replacing the Crop Area tool, multiple artboards can create documents that contain up to 100 artboards of varying sizes. New Workspace Features Multiple Artboards The files sizes have ranged from 196 kb to 120 mb The past week I have created logos, illustrations, and web design elements with Illustrator CS4.
SUITCASE FUSION CS4 MAC OS
I reviewed Illustrator CS4 on a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with 4 GB of ram running Mac OS 10.5.5.Also, the type of work that I have been creating when reviewing it. After the short description of the new features in each category, I give you my take on it. SUITCASE FUSION CS4 UPDATE
Plug-ins for CS6 are in development and will be released as a free update for Suitcase Fusion 4 sometime after the launch of CS6. Editorial types also benefit from the new version as Fusion’s InCopy plug-in now supports CS4, CS5, and CS5.5. Plug-ins for Photoshop are supported for CS4, CS5, and CS5.5. Plug-ins for Adobe InDesign and Illustrator are now supported for CS3, CS4, CS5, and CS5.5. That makes it easier to find and use the right font. New Font panels in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop offer direct control of font browsing so designers can now preview, organize, and activate fonts from their font collection directly within these Adobe applications. Suitcase Fusion 4 also now offers a built-in color picker to choose the text and background color directly within the application’s Previews window. These Digests provide a powerful way to set up specific lists of fonts from extensive Suitcase libraries.Įverybody has favorites, and now designers can star fonts as Favorites so they can quickly find, preview, and use them in their projects. Suitcase Fusion 4 now allows designers to create and edit their own custom font lists, called Font Digests.
